For sale my FZR 600 3HE 1991 special.It really does break my heart selling my pride and joy,The bike has had extensive modifications done to improve what Yamaha started back in 1991.
The complete front end is from a Yamaha R6 2000 model includingtop and bottom tripleStem from the FZR 600 professionally machined and welded to the R6 bottom triple clampForks rebuilt with new seals and bearingsfront brakes blue spots really make a difference to the stopping powermatched to the R6 master cylinder with titanium levers.new R6 wavy discs and sintered padsA vast improvement on the stock FZR 600 suspension adjustable too.
The engine has been rebuilt completely using new Yamaha FZ rods and new standard YZF 600 cylinders and pistons.everything measured ring gaps done compression is at 180 psi on all 4 cylindersThis mod equates to 660cc and makes a massive difference in performance once the carbs were re-jetted, tuned and balanced.oil cooler from an FZR600R fitted to help cool the increase in engine size it works perfectly in keeping the temperatures within the stock range.
Cylinder head rebuilt, new valve guide seals, new buckets and springs, shimmed to the factory spec and also a brand new timingchainand tensioner fitted. brand new valves have been hand lapped in.
The front wheel is also from a Yamaha R6 as is the mud guard.Braided hoses fitted throughout front and rear.
The rear end is from a rare Suzuki GSXR 400 RK GK73AThe one that had a braced swing arm very hard to get hold of, it fitted straight in just mods to the bearings required, so the bearing are new and also the seals.new wavy rear disc fitted to match the brake caliper whichwas rebuilt with new seals and pistons.The rear shock is from a Yamaha R6 2000 model with adjustable rebound and damping again a vast improvement on the pogo stick suspension of the early 1990`s.Vance and Hines rare SSR2 exhaust fitted to a set of extremely rare Yoshimura downpipes.I could go on and on any genuine questions a bout the bike are welcome.
You will not find another FZR 600 that has had this much time and attention and money spent on it.The bike lives in my hallway in the house and never sees rain or bad weather.The bike does not have an MOT but will have a full 12 months once it is sold.
