Used 1994 Harley-davidson Touring Used 1310L

Four years ago I went in search of a 1994 Road King because I loved the "tuxedo" paint scheme. My intention was to drop in an S & S engine and a Baker tranny, to end up with a solo seat roadster. I found this bike at the Sturgis Indian dealership that had recently been traded. The only rub was that Harley's new for '94 liquid crystal odometer display tended to burn out, which was the case with this bike, hence unknown mileage. Not a problem for me since I was planning to change out engine and transmission. Before I took delivery, I had their technician rebuild the steering head, service the hubs, true the wheels, replace the stock handlebars with fat, wide bars, replace cables with new braided ones, and install new tires, and service the forks. I also had the tech check compression and he assured me that the compression was very good and the engine ran strong. He suggested that I not swap out the engine and tranny since there seemed to be nothing wrong, and based on overall condition it probably had fairly low mileage, but of course we did not know that for sure. Next I replaced the rear stock shocks with Progressive adjustable shocks, removed pillion, replaced unsightly rear directionals, and added new stock mufflers, new mirrors, new grips, new shifter pedals. Brand new Corbin leather seat. Since all of the above I have only put approximately 1,000 miles on the bike, and they have been completely care free.

As the mechanic suggested, I have left the engine and transmission stock. The original paint and chrome is amazingly good, suggesting the bike was garaged and well cared for. The only cosmetic flaws are some scratches on top of rear fender where pillion was and two small dents on right side of the front part of front fender. I clearly show these in photos. Does not leak oil at all. Also included is a brand new, unused, OEM, detachable windshield. Bike is located in Western Nebraska approximately 3 hours north of Denver. I stand by all of the statements in the above description, but is being sold as is. I have sold many bikes on eBay, all with happy buyers. I am selling all but 2 of my 15 motorcycles in preparation for a move to my wife's home state of Florida. Buyer responsible for pickup. Sold only to lower 48 United States.
