For sale is my all numbers matching Melbourne build HG V8 base model Monaro .
It has its original tags and is a matching numbers 253 trimatic car with banjo diff .The factory paint colour on tags is Kashmir white and the trim is black vinyl .
The MAIN BODY of the Monaro is very good with only rust being few spots on rear passenger floor (only couple patches needed .. not full pans) one seat support and one y frame support underneath . .

.that’s it .. RUSTFREE plenums, sills, parcel shelf , roof gutters, beaver panel spare wheel well
HANG PANELS doors have few spots on bottoms and guards usual repairs to do on bottoms. Boot lid and bonnet are rustfree
Y frame is very clean and NOT bent, just one repair to do at top of plenum and bottom of one leg .
Trim is mpstly complete with buckets and Monaro back seat . GTS wheel and console tidy it up. Will need new door trims , carpet and hood lining .
STAINLESS ALL stainless moulds are either fitted already or included (see pic) and generally in very good condition . Gutter moulds are a bit knocked around but these are available repro .
GLASS and HARDWARE ALL glass and ALL REGULATORS and tracks are either fitted already or included (see pic)
DRIVELINE 253 is complete with all its bolt ons ,and correctly date coded to car .. needs an exhaust otherwise would not take much to have running , trans looks in very good condition also ..
Great opportunity for someone to get themselves into a very solid and desirable coupe with all the hard to get bits already there and a great base to build from .. not many of these factory V8 base models left that haven’t been converted to GTS in a previous life so don’t miss out .
