This 2lt diesel engine has only clocked up 300k and is sound and starts first click after the glow plug lights up. No unusual sounds whilst the engine is running and it produces a nice diesel engine rhythm.
Injectors are fine and there is no exhaust smoke. Gearbox, transfer and clutch work tightly, brake system is sound, chassis is solid and structurally sound with no rust.
Panels have some cosmetic rust which is minimal and mostly surface rust which would be easily repaired.Originally rust proofed by MING who still exist and you can see how effective their treatment was to this day.
Interior linings are near new without any markings and the back seats are as new.
Passenger door has been pressed in and could be pressed out otherwise the body is straight without dimples.
Tyres are Yokohama and near 100% tread and would cost nearly $1000 to replace.
Alloy Bull bar lightweight but very strong
Two litre diesel engine and four speed gearbox means this vehicle has huge torque for the backblocks.
Being a forty year old FWD please do not expect this vehicle to perform on the highway. Speed is not in this vehicles design, it is all about off road torque.
I don't like the rusty bodgey job on the passenger floor though, but considering the rest of the floors they are absolutely flawless for a vehicle nearly 40 years old.
It is very slow on highway inclines and much slower than a Kombie van, It only has a 2lt diesel engine without any turbo which is a plus as it makes it relatively fuel efficient off road. It is a duel cab and has a massive cargo area in the ute.

Tonneau cover is about $150 on Ebay and the same goes for new vinyl or carpet flooring.

As you can see it possesses a raw off road muscular design which is now hard to find before the later squarish hybrid off road/highway FWD's appeared.
My son doesn't want me to sell it, he really wants it but he can't pay and I cant store it! Holden HR, Monaro, Ford XT, he asked me how much are they worth now! This is a vehicle which will only appreciate in value.
