Just passed roadworthy with this 5L 308 V8 engine, Turbo 400 Transmission and 3.36 Salisbury open diff. Originally a 202 3 speed - this ute has been restored in the original paint code on the compliance - Manderin Red.
The vehicle has been FULLY restored approximately 3 years ago and has only traveled 4000kms since. Every single part of the car is new or rebuilt - bar none. Everything. I mean really - everything, brakes, suspension, paint, interior, heater unit, cooling system, wiring, nuts, bolts, washers - the lot.
There is absolutely no rust anywhere whatsoever. Paint is excellent glossy 2 pack with the GTS blackouts on sills and beaver.
The motor is a GEM full rebuild that has only traveled 20,000kms. Transmission and diff have 50,000kms since overhaul. Carby is standard spec Rochester Quadrajet. Motor, trans and diff are all standard spec - no performance upgrades here. Twin system 2 1/2" with extractors (have permit) - sounds very tough. Video available.
The car cannot be faulted and garners a massive amount of attention.
Sale price includes a mint power steering kit and mint condition original steering wheel. Can also throw in a correct HJ column shift type steering column and Turbo crossover linkages for anyone who wants to put the shift onto the column to go for more original look.
