Rare 1977 Honda CB250T with only 2 previous owners. I purchased this bike in September 2019 and then restored it over the winter 19/20. The bike was very original when I got it so was an excellent base to start from. It was stripped to the frame and everything bar the engine (which was running fine so I decided to leave it) and paintwork (in very good condition)was either restored or replaced. The inside of the fuel tank is as new with no rust or horrible liner in it. Original key fits all locks. New tyres and new chain and sprockets.
All the parts that were replaced were NOS genuine Honda parts with the exception of the silencers which are the correct short length replicas from David Silver, the original Honda ones are included in the sale. All nuts and bolts are original Honda either replaced or in most cases replated.
NOS parts included full wiring loom, indicators, front wheel, headlight, mirrors, fuel cap cover, kick start, footpegs, rear light assembly, cables, exhaust collector box, exhaust collector box cover plates, Battery box and a significant amount of smaller items, I even managed to get some NOS rubber covers for the rear indicator stems.
The alloy parts were professionally re-finished to the correct satin finish, carbs stripped, cleaned and rebuilt with new parts where necessary.
The original headlight brackets, Honda crash bars and handlebars were rechromed and a good 2nd hand rear mudguard purchased.
I ran the bike for about 7-800 miles over last summer and it proved to be a fun thing to ride. My hobby is buying good original bikes and then restoring them to as close to factory as I can using them for the summer and then selling them the following year. My next project is almost finished so this one has to go. I do it for fun not profit and the bike owes me more than I am asking.

I see that this has generated some interest on Facebook, many thanks for the comments, just to clarify it has the anti kink spring fitted to the fuel pipe (NOS one fitted just doesn’t show up well in the photographs) and helmet sticker is fitted also didn’t show on the photographs, Honda rear sprocket fitted, again photographs didn’t show it very well last 2 photographs changed to show. All the best Nick.
