Unfortunately I am not available, as I am selling this van to focus on my HJ XX7 Tuxedo Black van

I have some Interstate inquiries investigating their transport options and costs, this needs to be sorted for a clean transaction please.

ROOF:
I could possibly provide an excellent cut off REPLACEMENT ROOF to unpick and replace the entire van roof panel. Cost would be additional $1200
As per many Sandy's the roof lining condensation has rusted out the side areas above the rain rails FROM THE INSIDE. Paint was holding it together.Good news is the rain rail is sound. Repairable, folded edge 1mm sheet strips re spot welded inside the rain rails down the sides and one weld line.
It is a project so standard components replacements required and such items as front & side indicators, bonnet cable, Indicator stalk, hand brake cover and so on is required and can be sourced from such places as Rare Spares
Donor HX Van or ute would help
Ply seat backboards and inside rear panels have been sanded back to base and coated with PPG (Dulux) acrylic, correct Grey Anthrocite
It has all the usual rust areas, and possibly a few more.
Quarter panels are very straight, the windowless panels also and the seam between are excellent being the most critical areas.Floor pans need replacing as the rear beaver possibly. Then it is usual rust repairs.
Rear headlining teeth have been removed. Side headlining strips are still intact.

No GTS Instruments, instrument loom or console are included.
No rear upper Tailgate assembly including hinges & lock brackets on the body.
Genuine thick 5mm spoke GTS Steering wheel is straight and very good condition
ENGINE:
It is not the original Engine
Cast Date 9H6 being Aug 76, 8 months PRIOR to the Van month date of production.
Complete 308 HX 4 speed Engines are rare and worth $2,500+++ on their own to the correct buyers.

This is due the volume were autos and allT400 not Trimatic making Aussie 4 speed/Trimatic HX Blocks RARE!
The 308 is not the original but is the correct RARE crossover block being T400 and with also the upper holes for an Aussie 4 speed transmission.
Itshould be possible to change to 4 speed pattern
Engine wiring harness came with the engine so requires Tacho wire to be installed. The headlight loom also came from the engine donor.
Transmission, radiator or tail shaft ARE NOT INCLUDED
Paint stripping, Sandblasting & Etchprimed areas are in Grey or Black (Chassis):
Blasting was low pressure fine garnet at a specific flow rate and angle (correctly) on rusted areas and solid frame areas such as door jams, underside bonnet but not the underside bonnet skin - this was manually stripped), support panel, inner fender skirts, scuttle grill assembly.90% of the chassis was blasted. Chassis areas NOT blasted have NOT been acrylic black etch primed so you know where still requires the work
Back to bare metal was done 3 weeks ago. Body & panels in Valspar grey etch primer
All etch primed areas done in a booth with heating and heat lamps
