I purchased this jeep in August 2015 as a project car.The money I spent in the first year included doing the seal bw motor/gearbox (approx $1000)New clutch approx $1350.I did timing belt and brakes.Replaced interior with full leather incl. door trims. Had an auto electric install the electric seats.

Full set of brand new tyres which have only driven from Dandenong to Frankston and a few trips out of driveway to nature strip.Replaced motor regulator on rear window.Did the usual things like new wiper blades back and front.I spared no expense as I intended to drive the car. It is sporty and has a great back compartment for dog to go to beach.
As the car approached RW stage, my husband purchased a new Wildtrak. Upon driving his car a few times I decided that I owned it and have driven it since. I've come to realise that I am too old to drive a manual (the jeep has tight, close gears) and that the project has to go.The jeep still has a high/low range light on the dash. This is not indicative of a problem with gearbox as the high low work fine. An auto elect looked at it and said it is a switch on top of the gearbox that needs replacing which is not expensive. Other than that, a windscreen, and I believe it is ready for RW.Cosmetically, as I intended to respray it, the roof has patches of discoloration as does the bumper. There is also a scratchy dint in door. All these things are in photos.
I'm encouraging offers as it is just sitting there going to waste.
