Right then where do I start:
up for auction is my Jeep patriot, I have had this for over 2.5 years (been off road the past year see below)
Engine is good and pulls like a train
Starts and stops ok
2 keys
remote locking working
All electrics work fine
Air con working (cold)
Full leather interior
HPI clear
Had new clutch at [hidden information] miles (approx 8000 miles ago)
Does
around 37MPG around town and 50MPG (combined probably around 43mpg) on a
run which is pretty good for this NON AERODYNAMIC square, heavy
vehicle. Also moves pretty quick when you need it to.
The stereo system is excellent with MP3, DVD, Blue tooth, Hands free, SAT NAV, CD and radio. I have had a lot of vehicles and this sound system beats them all even the ones that I have put in myself.
This is the model which has the pull down speakers in the rear tail gate so that if you are parked up you can open the boot,turn they system up and have excellentsound from these speakers and the built in sub on the boot.
3 of the tyres look good but 1 looks a bit low.

Body work OK with a few dings here and there ( well it is a 10 year old Jeep so what do you expect)
has sill protection bars along the side.
Just under [hidden information] miles which is nothing for a diesel.
Just gave the outside a bit of a clean and comes up very well, inside needs a good clean as its been sitting for a year.
Just
had a look on Ebay and 2008 are going for over 2000 and 2010's (with
this spec are going for a lot more (and I mean a lot more from between
4000 to 6000 (trade prices so private will be around 3500 to 5000 )
Right then, here comes the bad bits.
Ive lost the service book.
Drivers seat is a bit worn (see last pic)
While
driving home 1 day I heard a noise coming from the rear of the car so
pulled over and had a look around, couldn't find anything wrong so drove
home hastle free, noise stopped and drove lovely.
A
couple of days later while driving around the noise started again along
with a bad knocking noise from the rear. At this point I stopped and
called the RAC and they took me back home.
I
contated a mechanic friend of mine and he said that it sounds like thee
rear dif has failed so i got a replacement and fitted it. Took it for a
spin and the noise was stll there, so waiste of money, so left sitting
for a while. Spoke to mechainc friend again and he suggested that it
could be the prop shaft as when we replaced the dif we notice that it
had been bouncing off the bottom of the car (the dif was bounding) . In
my eyes the prop is the only thing that can make the dif bounce (if prop
is slightly warped or 1 of the UJ has failed).
That is why this is being sold as spares or repair as I have lost interest in it and got another car and van.
The car also has no MOT so would need to be trailered away. And may need a bit of work due to being sat for a year.
There
are a few spares that come with it as I purchased these to replace as a
prventative medicine (as I always do on all of my cars, replace things
when I have a few extra pounds lying around so that I dont get expensive
bills when things wear out)

Thats over ВЈ300 worth of new spares
There
is also the old dif that was taken off which pressuambly is in good
working order as the replacement didn't cure the problem.
