Used Kawasaki KLF220 Quad bike

Kawasaki KLF220
Quad bike, Relisted due to time wasting winning bidder not responding / purchasing, 4 x 2, 5 speed manual with reverse & shaft drive. Not sure what
year this one is, I believe they ran from 1988 to 2002. I purchased it from a friend
who was downsizing however we aren’t really using it much so it’s time for it
to go to a new home.
It starts at
the first push of the starter button & has been a very reliable machine for
us. Mechanically it’s very sound, no rattles or smoke etc & goes really well with only a very minor
oil leak around the head or rocker cover; it’s never been an issue though &
doesn’t burn or drip any oil. All the electrics,
head lights, tail lights etc work, although one headlight has a broken glass
but still works. The body of the quad is in generally average condition for its
age with quite a few scratches & some cracks in the plastic bodywork. I
have taped the seat up as the vinyl is quite torn underneath.

The front &
rear racks have also been bent & repaired in the past although they are still a bit rough. The tyres are also
quite worn & could stand replacing, although they have hung in there for us
though & we haven’t had any flat tyres or issues with them.
It’s not the
newest quad on the market nor the prettiest & probably looks better in the pics than in reality, however if you’re after something
reliable, cheap, fairly indestructible, made to last & not Chinese made
then this would suit. As I said it goes really well & I expect it would
last forever if maintained.
Its pick up
only due to its size, we are located in Mittagong NSW, about 40 minutes south
of Campbelltown. Prefer cash on pick up if possible & also highly recommend inspection
& test ride if possible. Please check the photos carefully as they form
part of the description. It shouldn't have to be said, however please don't bid if you don't intend to purchase & waste everyone's time.
