This bike has been converted to stroke1985 Kawasaki KX250 with 1982 KL250 stroke engine, number KL250AE-[hidden information]
This bike was converted from to stroke by the late Karel Morlang.
Engine had top end re-build and about 10 hours work since then. (Was smokey, not now) Due to the conversion it has quirks, have to lift right foot peg to kick it. Currently has non standard kick start lever so standard one may may give clearance.Fuel tap relocated to gain clearance, tank heated and moulded underneath to clear engine, not visible. No radiator shrouds as there is no radiator any more. Total Loss electrics. The bike has rear rims, one with very good knobby and with very good trials universal.Plastics are serviceable but showing signs of age, front guard has burn from exhaust but never concerned myself with it. Rear has holes where number plate was fitted. Seat cover is perfect. It once had lights etc. and had full Vic rego, not sure how that was acheived as the bike began life as an MX machine but the Vic reg number was OM777.I have upgraded so no further use for this, time to move it on.
Bike is in Altona North Vic and is pick up only with cash.
