Those who’ve ridden these bikes know how good they can be.
The Kawasaki ZZ-R 600 is a pretty fast bike with a 14,000 rpm redline. They are
also very roomy and comfortable, and therefore a practical proposition for long
distance commuting or touring. There’s even a little, lockable glove box! The
Kawasaki ZZR 600's large front fairing houses a good size dash with analogue
revs and speedometer, digital clock, plus temperature and fuel gauges. The
screen works well at deflecting air away from the rider and the bungee hooks come
in useful for touring.
Overall, the ZZ-R600 is a tough bike. It’s common to see these
bikes knock up some vast mileages. Being a Kawasaki, build quality is good too.
A quick search on eBay will show similar bikes with much higher mileage
commanding good money. With a low mileage of only 5789 miles, this bike is only
just run in and will provide years of enjoyment for the new owner.
This motorcycle was last in use in 2007, hence the extremely
low mileage. All filters and fluids have been replaced. The front and rear
brakes have been overhauled. The carbs have been stripped and cleaned.
Unfortunately, the exhaust manifold has rusted and a replacement
will need to be sought. A new manifold from Kawasaki would be pretty expensive
and only available on back order, so second-hand or after-market
stainless-steel manifolds are more suitable options. This motorcycle has the
more sought-after dual exhausts requiring a 4 into 2 manifold. A quick search
on eBay shows some second-hand manifolds currently up for sale. Alternatively,
a 4 into 1 exhaust system could be installed, however in our opinion the
motorcycle suits the dual exhausts.
