| Seller Notes: | For sale lj torana that competed and finished in the 1979 repco rally. It was built and campaigned by a man named John gough. It finished in 63rd place. The history of the car is after the rally it was used for a short time in the panel shop he owned. It was then basically parked up in a shed for many years but unfortunately the shed leaked which led to the cars demise in the body. The body is totally rusted and cannot be salvaged. The car still retains all its original rally gear including a box of spare parts that went on the rally. It has a 186 modified with twin throat carby headers cam ,electronic ignition ,oil cooler mod on oil pump . Gearbox is a m20 with xu1gearset fitted. Diff is probably lsd but that I am not sure off. It was then basically parked up in a shed for many years but unfortunately the shed leaked which led to the cars demise in the body. The body is totally rusted and cannot be salvaged.
