Used Mercedes Benz 300TE Automatic (7 seats)

My car has until quite recently has been in daily use. I am selling it because I wanted to go 4wd for off road and towing purposes and purchased a Mercedes ML. The 300TE is currently registered but it will be allowed to expire because I cannot justify a second car.
It has an interesting past history. It was purchased directly in Stuttgart by a Japanese diplomat based in London. It then served time in Hong Kong and Canberra. This may explain it's options.
I consider it to be in very good condition. All panels are straight and the paint good. There may be minor blemishes but you would have to look hard to find them. The interior is very good. Seats are perfect, the dash has a couple of splits from sun exposure and the faux wood on the console shows it's age.

It has electric seats and windows and the transmission has sports and economy switching. These are options rarely to be found on this model. It has a tow bar. The rear seats have head rests not shown in the photos but are to go with the car. Children seats in the rear enable 7 to be carried in comfort.
Engine and transmission are faultless. With fuel injection the engine starts and runs perfectly. Transmission shifts are spot on. The air conditioning needs regassing.
It is being sold without a RWC but as evidenced by the registration number the last RWC wasn't all that long ago.
These wagons have an excellent reputation and are in demand. I am putting mine up for auction with a starting price of $1000 even though I see these models advertised for considerably more on Carsales because it is no longer required and I have no room to garage it. It has to go. Good luck.
