1986 Mercedes Benz 560sel sedan,used,in good condition,Black/Grey colour (black poly 199),The grandaddy and the pinnacle of German motoring,the most over engineered car of its time,almost 5.2 metres long in length,the original purchase price in Australia was $197,000.

....and it is the first year of unleaded petrol,runs great on 95 octane fuel,big 5.5 litre V8 is strong,great cruiser,it may need the idle speed valve replaced,idles a little high at 1,000 rpm in park and neutral,can be replaced,it has an option list...as long as your arm,tyres are good,gearbox was overhauled and serviced just over a year ago - very strong,gears change good,fuel pumps and filter and oxygen sensor and rear level valve rod was just replaced a week ago or so,power steering hose replaced as well,power windows and mirrors work,so does the air-conditioning,the original radio works,only the power aerial gets stuck,you have to jiggle the wire in the boot to raise it- mechanic said this can be replaced with a new aerial,I got everything on the dashboard to work...including clock,outside digital temperature gauge,the only two things that don’t work is the sunroof and cruise control...was bought like this,the rusty tray under the battery was replaced with a good one,big battery replaced in February this year,it has the New Old Stock unopened first aid kit in rear parcel shelf,rear adjustable reclining seat works good - super comfortable,carpets are good,glass is a little stainy/blurry,has to be expected on a vehicle this age,seat trims are good,has a couple of holes on drivers front seat - refer to pictures,dash is cracked,bought like this,little rust - little spot under boot lid behind centre mould,corner of rear windscreen on quarter panel - been like this for more than a year,a couple of holes on inside of driver’s rear door next to door rubber,some dents and small scratches here and there,but still presents well,tow bar,,all wipers work including front headlights,comes with some spares,car cover and original log books/manuals and a couple of brochures and display items from Mercedes Benz,Rego until February 2020,I’ve tried to be as honest as I can with this car,all work has been carried out by a Great and reputable Mercedes Benz mechanic in Sydney (NO expense spared) with years and years of knowledge on these long wheels based sedans,I have to get rid of some of my toys,but I won’t be giving this away,Regretful sale,I would like to see this old girl go to a good home as I’m an enthusiast of all cars,Inspection of the car before bidding is important,I won’t be held responsible if done otherwise,Car is located in Alfords point in Sydney.any questions don’t hesitate to ask,open to all SERIOUS offers,NO RETURNS,SOLD AS IS,WHERE IS....highest bidder pulled out of auction due to unfortunate circumstances on the 20/12...(Full of Shit)...BID to BUY !!
