This 1982 Mercury Grand Marquis was reportedly a one owner car, which I bought by auction. I have used it as a winter car for 2 years, and sparingly in the summer.

The air conditioning works really well, it is the coldest I have ever owned. Interior is good and comfortable. The body is good, no rust outs, and the paint, which has a few chips, cleans up presentably.Superior Rustproofing was done when the car was new, and it was parked inside.The pictures were taken when I bought it ,Mechanics are good, no issues with starting, driving, or stopping. No leaks and doesn't use oil. Dual exhausts are in good order. The engine is a 302, 4bb, with chrome valve covers coupled to an auto/overdrive transmission for good fuel mileage. The clock works perfectly, as does the factory AM/FM stereo radio.All lights , including the license plate light , and dome light, and factory coach lights, are in working order.And , of course, it has no engine light!Given the 36 year age of the car, it is pretty good overall, and is licensed, insured, and still in use. Does not need an etest, do not know what it would take to safety. It is on summer tires, including the spare.
