Boot carpetEXTERIORThis example was lucky enough to benefit from a full refurbishment and a brand new Heritage shell about 13 years ago and still remains in excellent order. The current owner has had the car for the last 10 years and has always kept it garaged and only taken it out in dry conditions. The paintwork is in fine condition with a lustful shine and the car is completely corrosion free. other than a few chips to the bonnet nothing to report. The chrome work is also excellent with no dinks or pitting and all of the rubber seals were replaced when the car was refurbished so remain in great shape. The car also had a new windscreen about 5 years ago due to a few small chips. The underside is particularly good on this example with no signs of any corrosion or wear to ancillaries or bushes. it also benefits from a stainless exhaust system. The convertible roof is in functional condition with no splits but was on the owners list to get replaced in the near future. It also comes with a full and half tonneau cover. INTERIORThe interior is a great place to be with the original black leather seats and the nice period additions including the Moto-Lita steering wheel. gear knob and the excellent centre console with drivers arm rest. The seats are in good original condition and are free from any excessive wear or splits in the leather or piping. the door cards are in perfect condition as is the dash board and all the chrome dials and switches. The carpets have all recently been replaced with some deep pile black items. The only negative to report being a small split in the red piping that goes around the arm rest. The boot area houses the spare wheel. jack. all the tools and both tonneau covers. It has also benefit from a complete new carpet set. ENGINE TRANSMISSIONWhen the car was restored it had a fully refurbished Aldon engine fitted that is converted to run on unleaded fuel. The engine fires into life from cold with only a small amount of choke and quickly finds a smooth idle. it has been very well maintained with oil changes every year. The current owner has done 12. 00 miles in the last 10 years and always kept it in regular use so the car has never been stored or SORN off the road. Recent work includes an electronic ignition.

a new 12V battery (6V cables left in place). new radiator and electric fan. The gearbox feels tight an precise with that lovely direct throw and the overdrive works exactly as it should providing more relaxed cruising in 2rd and 4th gear. WHEELS. TYRES BRAKESThe car has a genuine set of 14 UK minilite alloys that are shod in a matching set of Avon tyres. While being presentable the alloys do a have a few marks so if desired would benefit from a refurb. all the tyres are in great shape with almost all of the tread left. The brakes are in fine working order and pull the car up nice and straight. HISTORY FILEThe history file contains all the MOT certificates since the renovation and a few from before in the mid 90's. There is also a file with invoices and a letter from the current owner detailing the service intervals and any other work that has been carried out over the last 10 years.
