Subaru WRX -1997 auto.Car presents very well for its age. It is very original and unmolested. Has been used as a daily driver from Koo wee rup to dandenong everyday for the last 6 months or so and has not let me down once.Only selling as it is a little small for me and as we have another one it’s head is on the chopping block. (Please note we are not in a hurry to sell this car so tire kickers and low ballers need not waste everyone’s time)Good points:Exceptionally clean except for a few external bumps and bruises to be expected of a car of its age.
Was road worthied 6 months ago so won’t need much if anything (still has original exhaust)
Unmolested, unmodified, hasnt been boosted.
Pretty sure it has STI heads on it ( can get photos of head codes for interested parties)
Has Reg until 20/07
Tyres are near new
Airconditioner works well.
Not so good points:Has some clear coat peal on the rear spoiler
Has a small ding/ scratch on front passenger quarter panel which has been touched up. (See photos
When cold engine is a little bit knocky, but this goes away once warm, I suspect gudgeon pin.We do have an low K STI bottom end that can come with this car for the right price.
Overall is a fantastic and reliable example and still drives very tight and handles well.
