Used SUZUKI SP 400- RARE ROAD / TRAIL CLASSIC - CHEAP FREIGHT

Up for Auction is a rare 1981 Suzuki SP 400.
The SP is sold unreg but has an Aust. Compliance plate and can be full road reg.
Also qualifies for Classic rego. around $150 per year in Vic.
Engine has good compression and runs strong. Slight tappet noise, no concern.
Has many new parts including brand new tyres, indicators, seat cover, NOS side covers,
mirrors, muffler, battery.
For those not familiar with this model, the SP 370 was Suzuki's first off road 4 stroke bike, the 400 was the upgraded model.

The DR series followed but in my opinion Suzuki went backwards in looks with the Dr's.
Best comparison from the era is the Yamaha XT 500.
I have ridden both and I prefer the SP.
The SP was more expensive in the day that the XT.
Comes with Factory workshop manual and Trail and Track magazine with road test.
