It was manufactured at Meriden factory in November 1969, built to American spec and shipped to Johnson Motors California. The date of despatch being 13/11/1969. This 1970 model is finished in superb Astral Red and silver sheen with gold pinstripes. The 1970 pre oil in frame is considered by many to be the very best classic Bonneville ever to be produced, and as such offers a fantastic investment opportunity. This beautiful example has just undergone an extensive nut and bolt restoration, it looks and sounds amazing and is truly a pleasure to ride.
