Used 2012 Triumph Bonneville Used Purple/white 865L Manual Petrol

Seller Description

Triumph Bonneville SE, used as a daily hack to get in and out of work in all weathers so a bit weathered but not too bad.
Last MOT in March 2019, recorded mileage 29,615, pass with no advisories. Did another 92 miles until the tax ran out at the end of March 2019 and SORN thereafter so it shouldn't need much work to get her back on the road.
Flashed up once and month or so and warmed up but not taken on the road as no tax, MOT or insurance. Fires up quickly and easily despite 2 year old petrol in the tank.
Brakes sticky as would be expected after a 2 year lay up but has new pads fitted whilst SORN. Clutch free and engages/disengages easily.
Fitted with luggage rack, centre stand, rubber tank pads and heated grips. Tyre depths front 2.75mm, rear 3mm.
Apart from routine maintenance (oil, plugs etc):

In short, not showroom but not rubbish either. Will need a full service and the callipers could do with some attention. Otherwise I think it's pretty much ready to go.
Reason for sale - partial retirement/lockdown/mainly working from home now so no longer required. Have three other bikes so not leaving the pure faith, just slimming down - in more ways than one....

It's only done 92 miles since the last MOT so wouldn't expect problems with the head bearing, swing arm bearings or wheel bearings, nothing sticking after the lay up. Shocks feel OK and no leaks. Exhausts are fine. Lights and horn work and warning lights go on and off as they should. Rear brake disc is a bit worn, tester mentioned it orally at the last test but said nothing to worry about. Both brakes seem to pull up OK but that's just with me pushing as opposed to a proper test, rear brake disengages with a light mallet tap so probably just needs use and the new pads to bed in.
Front brake sticky and will need some attention. The calliper is OK but the pistons have some corrosion so I would guess worst case replace pistons (with stainless ones) and seals which I have seen elsewhere on eBay for ВЈ48 plus brake fluid, say ВЈ50 plus a couple of hours work. Lots more ВЈВЈВЈ if you use genuine triumph and get a dealer to do it I guess.
