Triumph Stag 1976 v8 manual o/d excellent condition the late Ken Hudson stag owners club life presidents car I am selling this car on behalf of a friend who has limited Internet access. he has owned this car since November 07 but circumstances have changed so it has to be sold It was a boy hood dream to own a stag and it took a while before he found the right car. What he did find eventually was an original. unmolested stag which belonged to the late president and founder of the stag owners club Ken Hudson Ken was highly respected in the motoring world and his stag was his pride and joy. he traveled all over Europe with the car taking in lots of car shows and representing his club with great pride. It was on one of their trips that he had a tyre blow out in a swiss tunnel. mounted the kerb . tore the clutch slave cylinder from the gearbox and damaged a front suspension arm. the car was recovered to Tony Harts in London where the insurers decided it was an uneconomical repair and classed it as a cat D. the car was far to good to break so it was repaired with a new gearbox and new suspension arm. This was all detailed in one of the owners clubs magazine . which there is a copy of. This car has been maintained by Tony Hart of London with no expense spared. Over the years this car has had an engine and gearbox rebuild. new clutch. stainless steel exhaust. discs pads.

brake lines. flexi's. front and rear suspension bushes. springs . the list goes on and on this car it very clean underneath. with original sills and out riggers in very good condition. The front wings and wing seams. inner wings. boot lid and seams . rear wings and inner arches are all very good. Paint work is starting to show sings of wear. a few spots of rust here and there. top and bottom of drivers door (underside) are showing bits of rust. small bit on bottom of passenger wing…. It is 37 years old after all ! engine 9 /10 nice and quiet no overheating issues gearbox . o/d 8/10 whine from clutch release bearing wheels / tyres 8/10 alloys need a polish. slight damage to spare wheel rim. tyre tread is good interior 8/10 non standard cd player. slight fading to hood by the sun diff /drive shafts 9/10 no issues front suspension 9/10 no issues floor/ out riggers 9/10 no issues chrome 9/10 no issues paint work 7/10 showing signs of age. few bits of rust appearing here and there (see pics) Ive tried to take as many detailed pics as possible. which can be seen here http://www. flickr. com/photos/[hidden information]@N07/ Car is located in Dundee Scotland and can be viewed anytime with ramp access available for inspection The stag will come with a full years mot I can be contacted through ebayfor more details Also published at eBay.co.uk
