Fiat-Abarth O/T 2000 America replica project
Due to ill health I am forced to abandon this project. I intend to sell the complete project which includes all components and design drawings.

The base of the project is a Fiat 850 coupe 1st series powered by 1.8 LAMPREDI twin cam engine coupled to a VW 5 speed gearbox.
Project Inventory:
One, complete Fiat 850 coupe body with all internals glass and trimmings. Some panels will require rust cutting and welding. A sheet of 1.2 mm body steel is included. ($2800)
A set of L/H and R/H new floor panels as well as a set of inner and outer door sills fully imported from Italy are part of the supply ($1200)
One, 5 speed VW gearbox inclusive of specifically made adaptor plate and flywheel to fit the Fiat engine. Wit h brand new starter motor. Set of axles to be adapted to new length required. ($2400)
Fabricated tubular rear suspension arms to take the extra power and to be able to be fitted with disc brakes. These need to be finished welding. Full set of drawings supplied. ($1500)
3 brand new “SPAX coil over” fully adjustable shocks. ($1200)
Front end suspension have yet to be fabricated. Ample lengths of Chrome-moly tubing will be supplied. The bearing housing and spindles have been machined and ready to be jigged and welded in place ($600)
A rack and pinion Fiat steering box is supplied as this forms part of the redesign.(Not yet drawn in) ($150)
All four corners bearings, stubs and brake rotors are brand new and form part of the supply. Used 4 pot front callipers and Fiat 124 rear callipers are included. ($1500)
The engine is a 1.8 Fiat out of a late 124 spider. This has twin DELLORTO with dedicated manyfold fitted to it. ($800)
I had intended to strip engine and improve its power output, and as a show piece I had imported an original Abarth alloy cast sump at a cost $2700.
The project also includes a brand new car rotisserie, an engine stand, a small sheet metal folder, a TRANSMIG welder.($1500)

You’ll realise more than that by just selling it for parts. Project too ambitious sell parts and revert bak to finish just the 850.
