vh valiant Ranger sedanJune 1971 build (one of the first batch), pretty complete original car, factory 3 speed manual245 HEMI, low build car no. 386 make a great pacer replica being a factory manual & "blonde olive" BERG 4498car.inner guard 3 M 41 386
Body is reasonably straight, hasn't had any major repairs, good bones, very little filler, original panels, only real rust is in outer bottoms of rear quarters, other wise very good rust wise, cabin floors & boot all good, has had a couple of small sections repaired (properly) in passenger side front floor pan, very good plenumareas & sills, good rear parcel shelf no extra holes cut, very good base for restoration / pacer replica,mostly original paint with a few touch ups / dents / scrapes / scratches here & there, the unevenness of the paint is because when I got the car the old guy that owned it had touched up all the chips / scratches with yellow paint over the years so I just touched up them areas with some of the right colour, there have been no major panel repairs in them areas.
Interior is shabby, headlining etc. torn / sun burnt but mostly there, trim code T1 seat belts / bolts / scuff plates all there.
mechanicallyit's a factory manual 3 speed column 245 HEMI*D223B *02645 engine runs good, blows no smoke pretty sure it's original going by dates, just had new leads, plugs, filters etc. disc brake front, car runs / drives / stops (handbrake) onto a trailer not any great distance as has been of the road for a few years.
All over a pretty complete, dry car, was an inland Vic. car,I've had it about 3 years & was planning on doing a pacer replica, but I have other priorities so time to find her a new home, this one definitelyworth a restoration, I have a set of x 5 sportsman / charger rims & a very good pair of front indicators that will go with the sale at the right negotiated price.
