Up for bids is my 1970 Renault 16. It is a manual 4 speed column shift. It is in very nice condition. The interior is immaculate, looks like it came from show room. Car is kept in a dark covered shed thus not much deterioration.
Bought this last year from the owner who looked after it very well. The exterior looks like it had a minor paint restoration a while back. Some small bubbling of paint on two of the bottom doors, otherwise no rust anywhere. Runs, starts and drives reall nice. Suspension is very tight. Engine is healthy and doesnt blow any smoke.
It will come with carby repair kit as it has a flat spot. The valve cover gasket will need replacing as it wheeps being brittle.
Everythng works. Nothng broken. Has some hail dent on bonnet, easy repair.
All tires are roadworthy. A real blast from the past. Interior smell takes you back to 1970.

Very hard to get one as good as this.
I was planning to use as a club weekend car, but has to go as Im moving to a small house with no garage. It would be a shame to park her under the weather.
This is perfect for an enthusiast.All original parts. even the factory bonus umbrella is still in the trunk. manuals and repair manuals included.
