Used Volkswagen Bora V6 4Motion Sport. No Reserve

This was the top of the range at the time, the
V6 4motion Sport. The VR6 engine is the 24 valve version of the engine used in
the Golf VR6 and produces 150kw. This car is a pleasure to drive with 270nm of
torque and theversatile6 speed manual transmission.It aIt always
starts first time and has beenextremelyreliable.

It has climate
control, cold Air Con, heated seats, cruise control, power windows, power sunroof. I havereplacedthe radio/cassette with Am/Fm/Aux cd
player.
I have owned this car
since May 2016 and purchased it from the original owner. I have the original
purchase papers and stamped service book up until 145,000kms.Since then, apart
from regular servicing/oil changes, it has:
new rear tyres (June 2016)
new front tyres, due to
puncture (Aug 2017)
new alloys (June 2016),
new RH CV shaft (Dec
2016),
new rear discs and pads
(April 2018)
Air Con re-gas ( Nov
2016).
New
plugs/leads, and genuine VW coil pack (Sept 18)
New serpentine
belt and tensioner (Oct 18)
Registered
to January 2nd 2019. Comes with NSW Roadworthy Certificate (Pink slip)
Some issues that need mentioning:
I have had the typical amber abs/traction control
warning lights come on intermittently - I live with this because I know it’s only
faulty sensors themselves and there's nothing wrong with the abs or braking. I
did get an autoelectriciancheck it out and replaced YAW sensor but unfortunately
it still has this problem). It's a common issue on the Volkswagens and probably
other cars of the time whencomputerized sensors and so on were starting to
be used widely.Actuallyin the winter months the lights very rarely
come on in my car so I guess it must be something to do with the wheel heat and
the sensors, who knows The red paint (original colour) is still mostly very glossy but withblemisheshere and there where the clear coat has started
pealing - the photos show examples. The roof has lost its clear coat totally
but at least looks smooth with some shine and would be an easy re-spray. There
is a small dent in the left front guard (see photo) and slight impression near
left side door handle but once again quite minor. Front grill surround has
small chips.
All in all it is one of the rarer Boras being the
V6 and being the Sport model (with body mouldings and rear spoiler etc). It is
a car that has been well loved and I'm sure will give the next owner the
interesting options of keeping it as a quality, reliable daily drive, restoring
it to a concourse Bora Sport, or doing some mods as a sedan project.
