This van was in excellent mechanically condition when I drove it from Melbourne to Hamilton in 2006 where it has been stored undercover since in Western Victoria.  The engine was fully rebuilt on 16/5/03 and ran perfectly.  The body of the van is also in good condition except for the sliding door which opens and closes but the running gear needs replacing. There is minor rust and dents but nothing to worrying about on an original van of its age. The only other thing is it needs a new ignition switch as it is wired to a make shift switch on the dash. This does not effect the ignition but for a roadworthy you will need to replace this.  Apart from these things, everything else worked prior to storage. The kombi's rego ran out on 4/4/05 and is currently unregistered. It also has a set of luggage racks which come with it.  Today, while trying to start the ignition key broke in the tumbler but was removed. Van is sold as is, and recommend it is removed from Hamilton on a car trailer.  In case is does not sell, I am working on it myself still but for the right price my project could be yours?
