Used Yamaha XV 1100 virago. Super Low Mileage

Exceptional Low Mileage Yamaha XV 1100 ViragoI bought this around 4 years ago with the intention of putting it back to pristine and keeping an almost new Virago. I already have another one.It is a 1996 model and has only approx 250 miles on the clock. I cannot absolutely warrant the mileage, but MOT records back to 2009 show it to be correct then. It originally belonged to a gentleman who bought it new and stored it in his shed and never got to enjoy it. Probably not the best place in the world to store a new bike and over the years the chrome has started pitting and some of the alloy needs polishing, plus a small scuff on tank which is in lacquer. To be honest the pictures make it look better than it is.I was going to start with new spokes, then gradually work my way through it, chroming different parts each year. I did not want to fully strip as i know the speed chromers work and it would be in bits forever.I already removed the ugly rack and crash bars.It is best viewed so you can appreciate what needs doing. It does run very very sweet. Not been MOTd but no reason it will not pass a new test.It will make an exceptional bike, i just do not have time right now to start it as i have several other projects on the go.However if it does not sell, i have a big enough garage to store it until i do get time. If that ever happens.
