The Ferrari Testarossa is a 2-seater sports car that was first unveiled by the Italian car company Ferrari at the October 1984 Paris Motor Show. This model replaced the previously produced Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer.

The sports car was designed by the Italian body shop Pininfarina. The name "Testarossa", which means "red head" in Italian, was given because of the red painted cylinder heads. The main competitor of the Testarossa at that time was the Lam carborghini Countach.

The cockpit and body doors were made of steel, the front and rear bumpers were made of plastic, and all other structural elements were made of aluminum.
