Another gasoline engine, also with a volume of 1.6 liters, already produces 150 hp. at 6000 rpm. Peak torque is reached at 1400 rpm, abutting the mark of 240 N * m. Acceleration from zero to the first "hundred" in 8.9 seconds in the version with a 6-speed manual transmission and in 9.5 seconds in the version with a 6-band "automatic". Also on the Russian market, buyers are offered a Peugeot 3008 with a diesel, also 1.6-liter, 112 horsepower engine, which is achieved at 3600 rpm. Peak torque here is 270 Newton meters at 1750 rpm. There is no alternative gearbox in the case of a diesel engine. The motor is aggregated exclusively with a 6-speed automatic transmission. This motor is the slowest of the entire line -the first "hundred" with it, the car is gaining in 12.6 seconds. However, the "slowness" of this engine is compensated by a very modest fuel consumption - only about 4.5 liters in a combined cycle per 100 kilometers. Note that a more powerful 163-horsepower diesel engine and a hybrid version of the Peugeot 3008 are still unavailable in the Russian market.

The restyling and the chassis of the car were not affected.
