The Ranger pickup truck debuted in 1982. It replaced the Courier to become the most popular car in America over time. Since the start of production, the car has undergone many changes. Throughout its long history, it has improved, transforming from a utilitarian unpretentious pickup into a stylish and fashionable car for all occasions.
The Ranger in the early years of production had an independent spring-loaded front suspension of the Twin-I-Beam type and only with rear-wheel drive. The size of the rims is 14 inches. The car was offered with threeby the cab options: double, lorry and full double cab. The Ranger's cargo area held about 700 kg, which was a lot for LightTruck at the time. Shortly after the start of sales, an all-wheel drive version appeared, equipped with Twin Tracktion front independent suspension and 15-inch wheels.
The Ranger was produced in two wheelbase sizes: 2740 and 2895 mm. It was offered in four trim levels: Base, XL, XLS, XLT. In the most expensive configuration, the XLT was already a handsome chrome-plated handsome man with rich equipment, and not just an au pair. In 1985Ode appears the STX version, which had, among other things, comfortable bucket seats and oversized wheels. For a two-seater cab in the STX version. In 1987, the STX High Rider version was released with increased ground clearance and special tires with a developed off-road tread.
