For the first time in the history of the brand, cars with an 8-cylinder V-shaped engine appeared.

In 1957, the super popular "Flight Sweep" series of cars was released. The company ranks third in the United States in terms of the volume of products sold.

In the 60s, models with monocoque bodies appeared in the company's range. In 1962 the last models designed by Exner appeared on the marketfor Plymout: Belvedere, Fury, Satellit.
