During its rich history, the legendary model Dodge Ram (translated as "ram") has changed several generations. The car has come a long way from an uncouth cowboy pickup to a refined urban beau. The most significant changes took place in the appearance - the pickup received a new radiator grille, a more massive bumper and more powerful headlights, providing an increase in light intensity by 22%. The interior has been improved and expandedlist of basic and additional equipment. For the Ram 1500, as before, there were two types of cabins - a single Regular Cab and a double Quad Cab, as well as a modification of the Ram 1500 Mega Cab, which combines a two-meter body and an additional 20 inches of cab length, allowing three passengers to sit comfortably on the back sofa ... Significant changes have also taken place inside the cab: new bucket seats, adjustable steering column and pedals, a new climate system, instrument panel and center console. The car offered 5 different trim levels and equipment - ST, SLT, Sport, Laramie and the "off-road" version of the TRX with rear or all-wheel drive (TRX4) to choose from. The base engine for all four-wheel drive versions is a 4.7 L V8 Magnum (235 hp, 407 Nm), and an optional new 5.7-liter V8 Hemi with MDS (345 hp, 508 Nm) is offered. The latter is different eElectronically controlled, it can operate using either 4 cylinders or 8 cylinders, which saves up to 20% fuel. ST 4x2 versions are equipped with an upgraded 3.7 liter V6 engine (215 hp, 319 Nm). At the Detroit Auto Show, Chrysler, as part of the Dodge brand, presented an updated version of the giant Ram 1500 as mdel 2009. Designers have made the Ram more comfortable on the inside, giving it the trappings of a premium car, while retaining its external brutality.

The new Dodge Ram is equipped with heated seats and steering wheel, television and audio system with surround sound.
