The Fiat 131 is a small family car that was produced by the Italian company Fiat between 1974 and 1984. It was first presented at the Turin Motor Show in 1974. The Fiat 131 replaced the previously produced Fiat 124 and was available in three body styles: 2-door sedan, 4-door sedan and 5-door station wagon. In the United States, this model was called the Brava.

For the first series of Fiat 131, two versions of SOHC engines were proposed with volumes of 1.3 (64 hp) and 1.6 liters (74 hp). The sedan versions were called Mirafiori, and the station wagon versions receivedwhether the name is Familiare. Two trim levels were also offered: basic (base - Fiat 131) and special (special - Fiat 131s). Distinctive features of the Fiat 131s were four round headlights, chrome bezels and a dashboard.
