The story that I was told is that this was a 1959 Chicago Meter maid right hand shift with left hand throttle. I believe the original color was solid Police Birch White tanks and Sabre Gray and Police Birch White 2 tone body. Overall the solid Police Birch White paint is in great condition with only 2 tiny rock chip on the back of the bed above rear bumper and if new owner wanted to make period correct they would need to add the Sabre gray. Sheet metal is straight and oak was used for inside the trunk. I believe the rear brake/turn signal lenses are glass.The previous owner had Servi car rebuilt and refurbished at Russ Welch HD in Texas back in the mid 90's. The sign said it was restored but that would be very rare and not the case. I was told that the engine in it now is a NOS post war 1946 G crate motor that the dealer had in storage. I was also told that the previous engine was a 1953 hence how the title reads. In California they reassigned VIN to a Blue Sticker with a CLEAR title and I have the paperwork from the CHP. Trike starts with 2 prime kicks and one or 2 kicks and she ticks. 6 volt battery is a little weak when not fully charged or started frequently but will start with a charger or push start for now. Horn and siren work, the kick pedal is bicycle style not the original soap bar like clutch pedal, the speedo is re pop, I think the headlight just burned out so that will need to be checked out. The fuel line is half hardline and the rest rubber, The fuel shut off/petcock is a dual shut off , one for reserve and one for standard which needs to be closed when parking machine and open for prime kicks,the oil line has a shut off valve lever which needs to be turned on before prime kicks and turned off when not running, the chain oiler has been shut off.

Overall a great running and shows very well. I tried to honestly represent the bikes heritage and history. Sold as is with no warrantee or guarantee. Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and I will assist upon pick up. I will include service manual and parts catalog from Antique Cycles so buyer will have additional resource and information. I will also provide a trike cover. I advertised our paint company and riding group using magnetic signs. Trike has 3 trophies that come with trike.
