If you have ever wanted a 67 Mustang Coupe project that was affordable,
This is the car! It would make a great Father and Son or Daughter project.
We
have the 6 cylinder engine for the car, or you could opt to replace it with a rebuilt
ready to go 289 or 302 V-8 . You could probably get the original engine
running, but it would still need rebuilding.

Same for the carburetor and
distributor. We would recommend swapping
the original engine for a rebuilt engine that will get the car diving dependably
much sooner. Call us if you need an engine or transmission, no problem we have
most kinds, and rebuilt ones are available separately at very reasonable
prices.
Not sure of the original color, probably white with black stripes, but
you can paint it any color you like.
We
have included some pictures of other Mustangs at the end of the photos below
showing how the car might look when finished.
The
1967 Mustang brought buyers into the showrooms by the thousands and Ford’s
strategy worked-selling more Mustangs than ever before.
When fully restored, this car will easily sell for $15,000 or more.
BODY:
The big dent in the driver’s side of the car is the biggest issue and
will need to be replaced. We may have a
quarter off of another 67 coupe. We will take a look tomorrow and add that
information to this auction before the close of the auction. The roof will need rust repair along the drip rail and someone cut a piece out of the quarter. The rest of the
body is in pretty good shape. The floors
will need to be patched or replaced. Overall this Mustang is a great project.
INTERIOR:
The interior will need a little work, but not much, and it is really
the easiest part of the restoration. The good news is that you can see what is
needed. You aren’t accepting someone else’s mistakes or bad repairs.
All the wiring, instrument panel, seats, etc. will come with the car
but will need to be restored.
Both seats will need to be reupholstored, and we can sell you anything
you need for redoing the interior. The door panels and dash pad are included,
but you will probably want new ones anyway.
ENGINE
BAY:
Engine bay is in great condition. You should plan on having the engine
rebuilt to accept modern unleaded gas, or as we recommended, upgrade to a 289
or 302. Either will drop right in, and the original engine can be used as a
core.

BRAKE
SYSTEM:
The mustang has front and rear drum brakes. They are intact and
complete. If you would rather have front disk brakes, we can add those for
$1,500.
GLASS:
The windshield and door glass are included, but you will need a new
rear window
MISC.
The Mustang comes with everything shown in the pictures, and most all
of its parts. I have a couple of contacts for all the other NOS stuff you may
need
