The subject car was originally purchased by Mr. Arturo Keller, a renowned car collector. The Keller Estate Winery and Car Collection is in Petaluma, California.Mr. Keller had the car color changed (probably in the 1960s) from green to the present red and white.

The car was left unused for many years as part of the collection. Due to the lack of use, the piston rings dried out compromising the engine performance.The car was sold in 2002 to Mr. Andres Barahona (current owner), who had the engine overhauled in 2003, with a odometer reading of 59,040 miles. The overhaul included new pistons, valves, bearings etc. 70s era Michelin Radials remain on the car, as they have acceptable treads and affirm low car mileage. The car does not exhibit any signs of collision and was repainted recently. The canvas top is original, but has some signs of ware from being stored in it’s compartment. Recently, all mechanical items warranting maintenance were replaced, reconditioned or renewed to achieve proper performance.
