Beautiful High Quality Restoration 1971 Honda Trail 70
Newly Restored 4 speed CT70.
Just completed extensive and detailed restoration. All of the hard work is done. Ready to ride.
This CT70 will be 50 years old next September but it shows and runs like a brand new high performance bike.
Original matching Honda engine has been completely and professionally rebuilt (cases split) by Tim L. Who is as good as it gets. Originally a 3 speed semi-automatic. It has been transformed into a 4 speed H manual clutch. Oversized piston and high performance camshaft gives it plenty of additional power and speed to keep up with traffic and is just a complete gas to drive.Brand new OEM Kick start lever.Brand new REAL Mikuni VM20 carburetor has been re-jetted and dialed in. K&N lifetime free flow air filter and high performance carbon fiber free flow exhaust. New OEM fuel lines and clips installed. Starts immediately, idles, runs and shifts great. I mean it really runs awesome!
They say that "wheels make the bike".Rims, hubs, have been bead blasted and powder coated in satin black. Honda OEM B code bolts which have a chrome face without markings.

New Maxxis M6024 120 90-10 tires and also Bridgestone straight stem tubesfrom Honda. These are an aggressive on/off road tire often used on the Honda Grom.
New front/rear wheel bearings, seals, New Honda OEM brake shoes.NewOEM 15T front, 38T SunStar rear sprocket, D.I.D heavy duty chain and new OEM chain adjusters.
Powder CoatI wanted to give it an aggressive look. The frame, front forks, rear swing arm and new OEM chain guard in Candy Apple Green. It has an underlying golden metallic. Color is tough to capture in photos but is amazing!

Everything works. Headlight, 4 speed speedometer, tail light, brake lights and the horn is nice and loud.
