Seller Description

This is a 1972 Chevy Chevelle that I had restored over a 5 year period. I
replaced everything possible that I felt like would make the car stay
authentic but at the same time look, feel, and sound modern and
aggressive. This is not an all original matching numbers SS car with all
original parts so if you are looking for that this is not the car for
you. This car will turn heads everywhere you go and gets a ton of
attention from the looks and aggressive sound. I've kept a complete list
of all the things I had done to the car and have receipts. See below
for complete list but to sum up - rebuilt SB 350 engine, rebuilt 350TH
transmission, new 373 gears for aggressive cruising with a new dual
posi, new long tube headers, and new all the following as well:
flowmaster 10 series true dual exhaust, wheels/tires, 3 stage radiator,
bucket seats, sound system, 650 carburetor, air filter, Dixie Horn,
Optima battery, custom cut orange spark plug wires, SS hoses, manifold,
carpet, door panels, torque convertor, Steering wheel, tint,
distributor, and the list goes on.
This car starts right up every time, great oil pressure, Garage kept,
and never overheats. Never been to track, it's a cruising car. Minor bubbling of some paint near back panels near wheel wells. All new and rebuilt engine/transmission/gears/wheels/tires/exhaust etc. only
have 1k or less miles on them.

AutoFab Race Shop visit 1 Service/Installs - Install customer supplied
master vehicle seal kit. Includes: 8pc widow felt kit, 2 main door seal
sets, 2 roof rail weather seals, trunk weather seal 2 door jamb rubber
seals, 2 rear quarter glass seals. Install customer supplied master door
panel and rear trim panel kit. Install customer supplied dixie horn.
Fabricate mounting bracket for trumpets and compressor pump, wire relay
into orginal horn wring for operation through factory horn button.
Perform engine cylinder compression test (sustomer concerned about
possible burnt valve). All cylinders tested at 175psi (RH header needed
to be desplaced to test cylinder #6). Engine seems to be sound. Install
customer supplied spark plugs on re-assembly. Paint/refinish vechicles
orifinal rear plastic side panels and arm rest supports to original
specs. Install customer supplied door latch mechanisms on LH and RH
doors. Adjust latches and linkages for porper operation as required.
Remove and refit carb per customer request to inspect for broken base
plate gasket. Gaskets founds to be not damaged. Overhaul carb with
customer supplied Holley kit. Replace base and spacer plate gaskets with
new. Set carb to spec after re-install. New distributor por-billet,
chrome oil filler cap, exh set chev sb lg, blaster 3 power tower coil,
coil bracket universal, s/plug wire seperators yellow. Replaced
distributor assembly (internally leaking oil), insall coil and bracket,
wire coil assembly. Install /modify customer spplied Taylor igniton
cable set - includes: remove plug boot ends from original wires, routing
wires to cut to length and installing cable end terminations. Install
customer supplied Hedman header. Modify LH header pipe for chassis
clearance issue. Modify LH header pipe for chasis clearance issue.
Modify intermediate exhaust pipes to length and install/weld flange kit.
AutoFab Race Shop visit 2 Service/Installs - Vehicle returned with poor
running condition after previous repairs. Re-perform compression
test/leak down diagnosis. All found to be in spec, spark plugs were
found to be extremely oil souled. Remove valve cover, remove #8 cyl.
Valve springs and inspect valve guide seals and guides for wear. Guide
seals and guides are worn out excessively. Recommended to replace engine
with good rebuilt engine. Remove original engine and accessory
components. Mount replacement engine to stand and prep engine for
repaint to Chevy orange per customer request. New flameproof coating -
flat alum, 160 deg. Thermostat, gasket water outlet fl, strap clamp 3",
LD racing oil filter, crm timing tab sbc 8", pump discharge nozzle, ngk
vpower racing plug, penn oil, v/c gskt molded silcon stl sbc, int set
chev sb 55-85, 4150 base gasket, shell green antifreeze. Repaint engine
Chevy orange. Clean and respray intake manifold and other engine parts
and brackets. Assemble parts on engine. Install engine assembly. Install
engine accessory items and exhaust system. Change engine oil and
filter. Replenish fluids and level as required. Start engine, set base
timing and carb settings. Remove carb and perform air corrector
modifications to match fuel mixture to new engine/cam specs. Reinstall
carb and adjust fuel mixture.

Disassemble driver door panel to access
latch assembly. Repair failed lock from previous visit. Repair sticking
weather strip from previous visit. Rebuilt chevy SB 350 engine. Engine
sold with 90 day warranty against component and labor and defects.
AutoFab Race Shop visit 3 Service/Installs - Remove old seats, center
console, carpets, and sound deadening material. Install seat buckets on
new mounts. Install rear carpet sections. Install supplied seat belts to
mount points. Drill new mounting points for seats. Diagnose overheating
issue. Electric cooling fan not coming on. Diagnose faulty wiring
connection and install proper relay harness with temp sensor for proper
fan operation. Install driver side customer supplied carpet and seat.
Install driver side front kicker panel and sill. Install customer
supplied shifter cable and bracket. Passenger front carpet not lying
correctly. Remove driver seat, shift carpet and align and reinstall
seat. Complete installation of customer supplied caret set. Reinstall
rear seat assembly and passenger front feat. Prep center console for
paint and refinish. Paint, refinish and install center console assembly.
Adjust shifter cable for gear selection indicator.

and lower radiator hose, heater hose, and vacuum hoses, install customer
supplied radiator hoses, heater hoses and vacuum hoses, mount new
radiator overflow, modify bracket, diagnose heater issue, fix
transmission shifter issue, replace wrong bracket on shifter linkage
