For your consideration is a 1984 Classic BMW R65 Airhead. This bike runs, drives and stops well. I am a BMW collector and purchased the bike to build a cafe racer however I have recently acquired a lot of non running older BMW from an estate that are going to be keeping me busy for a long time. Rather than letting this bike sit I’ve decided to sell it so someone can ride and enjoy it. I don’t have to sell so I’m not giving it away. It’s not a show bike or a trailer queen just a good solid old Airhead. NO leaks and no smoke. All service is up to date. All lights and horn work. The guy I bought it from claimed the 28174 miles are original. Tires are good and battery is newer. No rips in the seat. Previous owner did the repaint which is good but didn’t remove a couple of dents that should have been removed prior to paint. I tried to take the best pics of the dents I could. The 6 months I’ve had the bike its always runs and driven well and I have ridden it quite a bit in that 6 months.

I have a clear title in my name. Ride as is , restore, or cafe racer . She starts right up but does like to warm up with the choke a bit before the choke gets shut off. Previous owner didn’t have any paperwork for previous service.
