I bought this masterpiece on eBay just over 2 years ago.

It was to be my dream car. I loved this car, and searched it out nationwide, finding it in Los Angeles. I proceeded to have it shipped over 2300 miles to me. I was so excited as I began to drive this very rare, 1 of 323 MANUAL TRANSMISSION BMW M6 Coupes with a V10 engine. That's right, 1 of 323 ever made with a manual transmission and a V10 in coupe form. To be fair, there are another 378 convertibles, bringing the total to 701. Still, very rare.
I was in love, well, until the motor threw a code a few weeks later. I eventually found it lost compression in cylinder #9, but never had it torn down to see what the ultimate failure was. For the last 2 years, I planned a rebuild because I felt the car deserved it, but alas, life happens. I was in a car accident in my M5, resulting in a broken pelvis from a drunk driver. Eventually, my dreams faded and I moved on. I am currently building a Porsche 911 Turbo instead.
To get some of my money back, I began parting the car and have removed most of the body, as well as electronics, interior, etc. I am still in the process of removing the brakes, as well as the engine and transmission. These items are not included as they are expensive and I can sell them for much more than the chassis itself. What you are getting is the shell as shown, with the exception of those items. It does have full suspension in place, but no powertrain or brakes. The chassis is undamaged, and the wiring is uncut. This could be rebuilt, or it could be used to repair another damaged M6. This car carries a clean title. There was an insurance claim that will show up on the Carfax for a total loss due to rainwater entering the passenger window, but the damage was actually insignificant. At this point, it really has no bearing on what is left to sell, but I do want to disclose it nonetheless.
The car's current value has been depressed by the engine failures (and poor SMG reliability in other models), though I honestly believe this could be a very collectible future classic that could have a value of several hundred thousand dollars. Think of it, a manual transmission, V10 equipped supercar capable of speeds over 205mph in factory form! But alas, it is but a shell of it's former self (pun intended). Perhaps your dreams can make it all it was meant to be?
