Selling a rare and extremely original 1983 European spec 316. Early production date of March/83
Car was purchased from the original owner and has since been utilized as an occasional daily driver. Has been garage stored much of its life and is in complete time warp condition. It has been fully serviced, has new tires, and is ready to enjoy.
This is not a car that has been "brought back to life" it is totally original and preparing it for sale involved taking it to the car wash.

This is a crisp, original, and well maintained example of an e30. Only modification has been the installation of a cd player but the original BMW Bavaria radio is included.
Features 4 speed manual and 1.8 M10 engine, runs well and does not leak oil. Starts, runs and drives on the button and is in like new condition.
Totally rust free with the exception of some surface rust due to stone chips (album for more detail) frame rails have not been crunched by jack stands or hoists. There are some minor imperfections in the body work (see album) and does appear to have been resprayed at some point to the original Alpine White but there is no evidence of accident damage or repairs. No damp spots under the carpet or in the trunk. Panels are all aligned perfectly and shut lines are excellent. There are some stone chips that would benefit from some tidying up and the wheels would benefit from being resprayed but I have decided to present it in original condition. Overall would rate as a 8/10.
Was purchased in Germany and imported to Canada in 1994. Service history dating back to original registration and still has the original Germany plate it was registered with, with documentation to prove.
Car has 158,000 km
Car is a very basic specification with some unique euro features including bronze glass, clock in place of tachometer, no passenger side mirror, no power steering, euro dash (no vin), kidney grills are solid without any venting, factory BMW coconut floor mats, etc.

Car is located outside of Saskatoon, SK Canada. Which has an international airport and is a hub for transportation. This car would be ideal for a fly and drive but I am happy to work with the buyer to organize shipping anywhere. Being a 1983 it is an easy import to the US.
