1949 Buick SuperInline 8 "fireball"Dynaflow Automatic
A peice of history. This car was purchased off of an estate and I hold the legal Ontario title/ownership. It was extremely well taken care for and maintained for most of its life. It has sat for the last (at least) 3 years.
The car has had recent battery, distributor, spark plugs, and spark plug wires. It does start and run. I have driven it down my street.
I have the keys for the doors, and ignition. The original ignition is included without key and I have a 1950 GM ignition cylinder with keys to be installed. Glass and trim is all in original condition, and the car has every part included. The drivers side window handle need to be installed.
The car starts by but must be jumped. Once you disconnect the battery the car dies. The brake pedal also goes straight to the ground with no pressure. I have not investigated this issue further.
The car is very solid. No visible holes in the floorboards or body anywhere. Interior is in decent condition. Seat foam is dry and craking with a few rips in the bench. Headliner is in great shape.
The frame is in good condition as is the metal of the body. there is one area on the quarter panel where paint is peeled and may have been repaired at one point and has peeled off.
