1970 Plymouth Cuda 440 SIX PACK, 4spd, Dana 60 Track Pack, 100% Numbers Matching
Blue-chip muscle cars don't get much more azure than a Vitamin C Orange '70 Plymouth 'Cuda packing a four-speed-backed and Shaker-topped 440 6-barrel under the hood. That's what we're looking at here-a numbers-matching 440+6 'Cuda with all the right equipment, including the Track Pack, with the 3.54-geared Dana 60 rear axle and Hemi four-speed. Offered by Rev Muscle Cars, this correct and enviable example is one of only 919 440+6/four-speed 'Cuda models built in 1970. This 'Cuda's only deviation from stock was the installation of a desirable Shaker hood scoop using only OEM parts for the modification. This classic E-body was originally delivered at Webster Chrysler, in Rochester, New York, where it ended up spending much of its early life stored in a barn. It changed hands a couple of times, before a new owner took possession of it in 2003, with the 'Cuda's odometer showing 57,000 miles and the original drivetrain still with the car. He had a complete rotisserie restoration performed, which was finished in 2006. Upon its completion, Mopar historian Galen Govier inspected the car and affirmed its numbers-matching equipment and rated the restoration very high. The car has only accumulated about 1,000 additional miles since the restoration and the seller purchased the car in its restored state.DRIVETRAIN
Often cited as one of the best-performing engines of its era, the 440 Six Pack engine, with its trio of two-barrel Holley carburetors, was rated at 390 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque.

The factory-original 440+6 engine in this 'Cuda was rebuilt during its restoration and starts and runs well. It's linked to the Track Pack-specific 3.54-geared Dana 60 rear axle via Chrysler's stout A833 "Hemi" four-speed manual transmission. All of the drivetrain and suspension components were rebuilt or refurbished during the restoration and have seen only about 1,000 miles of pleasure driving since then.EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR
Refinished in the original Vitamin C Orange hue, this 'Cuda's exterior is straight, clean and blemish free, according to the seller. The orange paint is accented with a "440" hockey stick stripe and chrome exterior mirrors. It also features the previously mentioned Shaker hood, which was not originally ordered on this comparatively low-optioned car, but adds the just-right muscle-car look. It also has the L34-code road lamps beneath the front bumper. Inside, the black vinyl interior is sparsely equipped, with high-back bucket seats, center console, AM radio and pistol grip shifter for the four-speed gearbox.OPTIONS AND EQUIPMENT
The list of factory-installed equipment, per the 'Cuda's fender tag includes:
E87: 440+6 engine
D21: A833 Four-speed transmission
EK2: Vitamin C Orange exterior color
H6X9: Black high-back bucket seats
A33: Track Pak Package
C16: Center console with woodgrain trim
C55: Bucket seats
G31: Chrome passenger-side mirror
G33: Chrome driver-side mirror
J45: Hood tie-down pins
M21: Drip rail moldings
M25: Body sill moldings
M88: Taillight panel molding
N41: Dual exhaust
N42: Bright exhaust tips
R11: AM radioWhether for driving, showing or investment, the 1970 'Cuda excels as one of the true icons of the muscle-car era, particularly with the comparatively rare 440 6-barrel/four-speed combination. The sale of this restored, numbers-matching example includes the original non-Shaker hood and induction system, along with a red-cap battery and a folder full of supporting documents and receipts. It's the whole blue-chip package, topped with a Shaker scoop.
