I’m selling my 2006 BWM X3. Mileage [hidden information]. Turbo Diesel MOT until 27th. OCTThis is a solid lovely car which for its years is very well equipped.Leather seatsSat navCruise controlPower steeringElectric windowsAir con (needs charging)Alloy wheelsEtc etcThe bodywork is dent free but the two front corners have scuff marks which could be cleaned up.All four tyres have loads of life left in them.The Bad stuff:As you can see from the dash lights there is a problem which I have had my garage look at.They reported that the transmission box needs replacing. This is something to do with the differential and the 4WD. The symptoms are that when turning tight corners the car will clunk a bit .I’ve been driving it daily like this for months now and it’s fine really but would obvs benefit from repair.On the straight she drives pretty normally only the odd clunk sound from the transmission box.Despite this, a very responsive pokey car that is solid on the road and looks great for its age.In cruise on the motorway you wouldn’t even know there is a mechanical problem.So the car has been price adjusted accordingly to allow for the transmission box change for which we were quoted £400 plus labour.Rear break pads probably ready for a change. Hand break needs tightening up.
