Unfortunately
I’m having to part with my Ducati Supersport 750. Long standing
injuries & age have caught up with me so it’s time to move on!
I
keep it in a heated garage. It’s in excellent
condition for it’s
age & has had oil &
filter changes in between service intervals. It
has partial stamped up service history including a few invoices.
The previous owner
assured me it’d
had a belt change service during his ownership but
no documentation. However, there is documentation to indicate there
was a belt change in 2016.
It’s
done only 11K miles which is remarkable for a 21 year old motorcycle.
The bodywork is in exceptional condition with only a small mark on
the passenger grab rail. The
air cooled V twin engine is prone to surface corrosion on the cooling
fins. Although this is minor they've been hand painted over the years & I suppose
they’d benefit from being professionally sprayed to bring it back
to showroom condition. Original exhaust cans show no signs of damage
except for a light scratch on the offside one which I’ve
photographed.
The
bike is pretty much original which is why I bought it. Sensible
(non bling) extras fitted are an Oberon clutch slave cylinder,
bespoke footpeg lowering brackets & bar risers. Original clip-on
bars & slave will be supplied.
The
only �bling’ is an Alcantara professionally covered seat which
replaces the cheap/nasty vinyl effort.
MOT’d
until May
2022 with no advisories.
Never
been dropped & no track day or racing use.
