Seller Description
I have owned this fantastic machine for 13 years. Before that, it was owned for 23 years by the previous owner, who took ownership from when the bike was just 2 1/ 2 years old. I restored the bike around 11 years ago, and it has only been used twice, for around 100 miles in total
Polished ports, 40mm PHM Dellortos, Lucas ignition, Hydraulic clutch conversion (original casing with the machine), Braided lines, and Brembo's. The crankcases were replaced in 1999, due to a snapped chain. I have the original cases as well.
The bike was stripped down to the frame and rebuilt from there. With a complete respray and wheel renovation.
It's in my mind simply stunning for a classic and iconic Ducati 900SS, but the time has come for me to move it on.
