What do you want to do ?New mailCopy Greetings to the reluctant sale of my fabulous Iron Head. I have owned this bike for a couple of years..buying it was a bit of a risk because I once owned a 70s Iron Head, and it was without doubt the worst bike I have ever owned. This is different all together..folk lore would have it that the very late Iron Heads shared much with the Evo motors...which were being developed at the time ? Whatever the truth is..this is a Much better bike than the earlier models. Being the Anniversary variant, this has its own paint combination and original Anniversary decals....the paint is original too; not perfect, but overall the bike presents beautifully. Starting is easy and the bike rides very well indeed..and pulls like the proverbial train. No oil or fuel leaks...it settles to a nice idle..great gearbox...Just a pleasurable and satisfying ride. 'There must be something wrong with it' I hear you cry ? OK..the clutch is a bit 'grabby' 'til it warms up..then it's fine. Gummy plate perhaps ? It has never bothered me, it's so insignificant.. And..if you leave it idle for too long it is prone to spitting back once in a while until a few miles work the magic. I don't think this motor has ever been apart...and you really wouldn't want to touch it....it's lovely. Like riding a Vintage Bike which will dislocate your shoulders.. HaHa..

I also notice that the rear tyre is getting down a bit; I have a good part worn which I will donate. Other than that...Oh yes....and it's done just over nine thousand miles. Other than that, my over riding question is why the hell am I selling it. Ha !. Tax exempt next year too..if we're ever let out of Prison. Regards to All.
