Ok so it seems the usual ebay story , please can I ask that only genuine serious ebay bidders take part.
Bidding when you have no intention of buying or even making any attempt to contact the seller is really unfair to everyone who genuinely wants to buy and wastes time and money.
This is a genuine barn find , well back of a neighbours integral heated garage actually where the bike had been sat for approx 12 years.
I bought during the 1st lockdown with the intention of restoring, this was my first bike back in 1987, this is also a 1987 UK model , I had one of the first into the country so this must have also been an early one.
There is quite a lot of history, invoices, old MOT's and even the original service / warranty book showing original purchases details and date purchased 1.8.87 so plenty of provinence with this bike.
After a little fiddle, bit of a clean and some fresh fuel she actually fired up about 6th / 7th kick , but after a little run on the drive I shut down as the fuel tap is leaking and I drained and stored her.
In my opinion the bike needs a good going over , all the usual stuff, brakes, fuel system , service and I intended to strip down and clean and restore everything.
Cosmetically she's now 34 years old , I'd have the tank resprayed and the panels and there is a crack in the mud guard which is an easy repair, but you may choose not to do this, certainly with a good clean and polish she will still come up looking pretty good ad hopefully you can get a good idea from my pictures.
