SUZUKI 2011 GSX650F LAMS LEGAL MOTORBIKE WITH EXTREMELY LOW 13690 KMS. TWO MATURE OWNERS.
These bikes come with 33 bhp as standard and with a simple modification, turn into an 85 bhp motorbike.
This bike had the 10000km service done before I bought it. All I have done to it is put safer tyres on it.
I bought this bike for my daughter, however she became pregnant and I now have two grandchildren and my daughter no longer wants to learn to ride.
I bought it 15 months ago, rode it for two weeks to work and back everyday and then put two new tyres on it in preparation for my daughter to take ownership of it. The tyres are essentially brand new, they have done 200kms.
Its a great bike, everything is in great condition and it is the cleanest GSX650F that I looked at, with the lowest kilometres, and thats why I bought it.
The problem is that in the last year, the bike has had a sheet over it and when I wheeled it out of the garage, I realised that either myself or my kids, have dropped things on the tank. I have pointed to the chips in the tank in the photos that I have uploaded. The tank doesnt have dents, we believe it has been sets of keys that have been dropped onto the tank over the past twelve months.

There is no rust, as the bike has been stored inside a dry garage. The bike was started weekly and run up to operating temperature, as this ensured the battery maintained its charge. The tank has seven of these chips, the biggest being 2mm, and some light scratching, which we assume was caused by the sheet being taken off weekly. I have included my finger in the photos to give an indication of scale. None of the scratching is deep. It may be difficult to see the scratches or even the chips, but I wanted to point all this out before any prospective buyer came out to inspect. If the bike was staying with my daughter, I think I would just leave it as is. Its dissapointing because the rest of the bike is unmarked but I would just leave it. If it concerned you, you could simply buy a tank bag on ebay for less than $100 and the chips would be unseen. Obviously it does not affect the motorbike in any way. It is still a wonderfull bike for either a learner or an experienced rider.
The bike is unregistered and therefore cannot be ridden however, Im sure that whoever inspects it will see that it is in great condition. Obviously the bike can be started, and the engine is whisper quiet and with the original exhaust muffler still on it, you would be able to hear any engine noises.
Inspection is welcome.
I live in Langwarrin, 3910, ten minutes from Frankston.
If somebody from interstate purchased it, I could make myself available for a courier or transport company to pick it up from my house.
I really dont know what its worth, as its the lowest kilometres Ive seen on this years model.
I will provide a current road worthy certificate if it reaches my reserve. If its purchased by somebody interstate, I will drop the sale amount by $150, as this is what it will cost me to get the certificate and that is only valid in Victoria.
I hope I have explained myself clearly. Its a great bike that has barely been ridden and will give many years of good riding and the tank has some small marks on it, that could be easily rectified, if you were even concerned about them.
